VRS Foods or PARAS is a leading name in India’s dairy industry. The company deals in a wide range of products such as Milk, Flavoured Milk, Dahi, Ghee, Fresh Paneer, Chaach and Dairy Whitener, etc. They have a vast distribution capacity and an excellent network, currently selling more than 2,50,000 litres of milk per day in Delhi alone!
VRS Foods was looking to launch a new brand for one of their top-selling products, the Desi Ghee. The company wanted a packaging concept which would make their new offering and their brand name completely stand out on the retail shelf.
CHALLENGE
Since there is a lot of competition in this segment, the need of the hour was to create a concept that would not only elevate the product’s look and but also give it that ‘WOW’ factor, instantly.
SOLUTION
Team Taurus Packaging took this challenge head-on. After a couple of brainstorming and ideation sessions, we came up with a totally unique concept of creating a GOLD FOIL EMBELLISHMENT for their shrink sleeves – a concept that has never been seen before in India on a shrink sleeves!
RESULTS
The foil effect was a massive hit.
Immediately after launching their Desi Ghee in our brand new, Gold Foil Shrink Sleeves, VRS Foods’ sales shot up by a whopping 50%.
The gold embellishment gave the Ghee jar a stunning and distinguished look.
When kept among their competition, due to the direct light in retail shelves, the Ghee container outshined like pure gold, differentiating it from other brands.
