Flexible Packaging industry<\/a> is experiencing a shift in its regular practices. This shift is not unpredictable. It is the preference of Recycled PET in flexible packaging practices. Shrink sleeve packaging with Recycled-PET has given a new life to recycling.<\/p>\n

I am working in shrink sleeve packaging industry<\/a> for almost 2 decades. It was an experience that changed my perspective of life. I have lived packaging throughout my life, and I have learned that creativity is the essence, but it had to be included with practical implementation. R-PET is the perfect mixture that defines it. I have written about the sustainable substrates in my 2nd<\/sup> book \u2013 \u201c5 Myths about sustainable shrink sleeves and received various inputs from all of you\u201d. The future of flexible packaging is this combination, and indeed Recyclable-PET is the scope. Let\u2019s know a bit more about this new approach. Recycled-PET as its name suggest, deal with already used and recycled plastic. This is excellent opportunity to utilize loitering plastics in environment. A welcoming move by Indian government has recently permitted that newly manufactured PET bottles must contain 30% PCR. And similar kind of rule will be in near future in flexible packaging industry.<\/p>\n

Taurus has recently come up with Recycled-PET shrink sleeves to cater the growing sustainable market in flexible shrink sleeves. The percentage share of recycled PET was thoughtfully done to consider the current industry situation and the objective to provide quality products to consumer.
